Malik has a wealth of experience in managing hotel accommodation operations and food outlets for a range of renowned brands. After undertaking training in business and real estate, he started as an Assistant Manager at Club Wyndham Sydney, handling day-to-day operations and guest services. Later, he became Resort Manager at Ramada by Club Wyndham in Coffs Harbour, where he oversaw the resort and timeshare apartments.
In 2019, Malik moved to Queensland as General Manager at Club Wyndham, Airlie Beach. He managed everything from operations, through to business development, marketing, events. In May 2021, he joined Oaks Hotels, Resorts and Suites, managing five hotels across Central Queensland, including more than 400 rooms, 250+ staff, operational activities, business development, food outlets, events and conference facilities.
Now, Malik is General Manager of Hotels for the Morris Property Group on the Gold Coast. He's responsible for running multiple hotels in the area and ensuring they perform well financially and operationally.
