Jake has more than 10 years of experience in managing food, beverages, and events in hotels and resorts. His journey started in 2010 when he worked as a Food and Beverage Supervisor on Hamilton Island. After two years, Jake explored different parts of Australia, including being the Hotel and Food and Beverage Duty Manager at the Thredbo Alpine Hotel and Village.
Later, Jake settled on the Gold Coast, joining Sea World Resort in 2016 as an Events Supervisor, and later becoming the Hospitality Manager for Topgolf. In 2019, he returned to Sea World Resort, first as the Assistant Food and Beverage Manager and then as the Food and Beverage Manager in 2021. In this role, Jake oversees seven outlets and 10 unique conference and event spaces, managing a team of 100 staff. He focuses on creating a great guest experience, coordinating event teams, and handling business functions.
Throughout his career, Jake has consistently improved guest satisfaction, leading to increased revenue.
