After high school, Gail trained as a beauty therapist. She then worked in various spas in different parts of Victoria, both as a therapist and spa manager.
Later on, Gail switched gears and became a Travel Consultant. She spent a decade with the Flight Centre Group, working her way up to Assistant Team Leader. During this time, she contributed her skills to brands like Flight Centre, Cruiseabout, and Travel Club. Gail became experienced in providing travel services for both leisure and corporate clients, working with wholesalers, and handling finance, marketing, and staff recruitment.
Taking a short break from tourism, Gail worked as an employment consultant. However, she soon realised her passion was in tourism. In 2021, she rejoined the industry as a Reservations Agent for Spicers Retreats, boutique luxury properties across Australia managed by Salter Brothers Hospitality. Gail's role involved delivering excellent guest services, handling travel trade requests, and collaborating with different departments to ensure guests had a great experience. Recently, Gail took up the opportunity to become Office Manager for Salter Brothers Hospitality in Brisbane.
