Emily is a seasoned leader in the hotel industry with extensive experience in managing hotels in Australia and abroad. After high school, Emily worked as Operations Manager at her family's hotel in rural New South Wales. She then received a scholarship to study international hotel management at the Blue Mountains Hotel School.

Emily worked in various roles in the industry, including positions as Food and Beverage Attendant and Guest Services Agent at Sofitel Sydney Wentworth. She also served as Concierge Manager and Hotel Trainer at the Sofitel Brisbane Central.

In 2015, Emily gained international experience as Guest Services Manager for Accor’s first UK Pullman brand in London. Upon returning to Queensland, she became the Front Office Manager at Pullman Brisbane. In 2018, Emily joined Ovolo The Valley as Front Office Manager and Project Manager for the hotel’s significant refurbishment.

Following that, Emily served as Hotel Manager at The Inchcolm By Ovolo, overseeing all aspects of the hotel’s operations including its rebranding to the first Ovolo Collective. Currently, Emily manages The Sage James Street hotel, where she oversees all aspects of the hotel’s operations and guest experience.
