Bekki Hull

Cairns

Bekki loves the ocean and works hard to protect it. She studied a Bachelor of Environmental Science (Marine Biology) and has travelled the world studying and saving underwater life. From coral restoration, reef ecology, shark and ray conservation, turtle rehabilitation, through to whale and dolphin watching and reef education - Bekki's done it all. She also undertook an internship and volunteer projects in Mauritius and South Africa.

From 2017, she lived in the Maldives for five years, teaching luxury resorts guests about marine life and leading snorkelling tours. Bekki also completed a marine education program for children at a local school and participated in outreach programs on local islands.

Now back in Australia, she's sharing her knowledge with visitors to the Great Barrier Reef as Marine Biologist and Reef Education Coordinator with Great Adventures in Cairns. Bekki conducts snorkelling tours and coordinates curriculum-based reef education days for school students.

She believes in educating people about the importance of our oceans and is dedicated to keeping these ecosystems healthy for future generations.
