Thomas is a tourism, retail, hospitality and customer service professional who has a passion for supporting the Gold Coast tourism economy and enhancing the visitor experience.

While studying Hotel & Event Management at both TAFE and university, Thomas gained practical experience working in banquets, restaurants, cafés and busy bar environments. He has worked to gain experience in hotel operations, starting as a Front Office casual, progressing through to supervisory roles including Manager on Duty and Front Office Manager within numerous properties including Paradise Resort Gold Coast, Sheraton Mirage Resort & Spa Gold Coast and Sofitel Hotels in Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

Moving from hotel operations to a retail environment, Thomas’ role as Concierge Services Manager at Pacific Fair confirms his view that exceptional customer service enhances a business. Thomas leads the delivery of the customer experience and service culture, developing service standards and training staff.

Studying a Diploma of Hospitality and Event Management followed by a Bachelor of Hotel Management, Thomas has developed an exciting career focused on providing exceptional guest experiences, initially in five star hotels and now in a major retail centre providing a tourism experience on the Gold Coast.

Thomas is passionate about sharing his vision for creating outstanding visitor experiences through mentoring and developing highly motivated individuals and functional teams.
