After graduating with a Communications degree, Nicole worked at Southbank Lifestyle Markets (administration assistant), Story Bridge Adventure Climb (tour guide and operations supervisor) and Griffith University Accommodation (collegiate programs officer).
In 2012, Nicole moved to Longreach and took up the role of Executive Assistant to the CEO at the Qantas Founders Museum where she has played a key role in the strategic development of the museum through her work on exhibit and restoration projects and developing children’s activities and new tourism experiences. Nicole is now the Museum’s Communications Manager, will step into the role of Acting CEO when required and in busy periods is a tour guide too!
Nicole has made a major contribution to growing visitation and engagement for the Museum and is well recognised for her engagement with the Longreach and wider community.
Nicole participated in QTIC’s Young Professionals Mentoring Program 2015 and provides a great perspective on outback tourism.

With a degree in Communications majoring in Journalism and Public Relations, Nicole has had a diverse career path encompassing marketing and tour guiding, managing events, programs and training for university residential colleges and now participating in the development of a tourism business. Nicole has played a key role in nurturing and developing the team at the Qantas Founders Museum.
