Mark has worked with iconic tourism experiences throughout his career and has a passion for the tourism industry and creating enhanced visitor experiences.
While studying a double degree, Mark gained experience at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary and was promoted to Retail Supervisor managing the retail department and 50 staff. Mark completed the Bachelor of Business Management/Bachelor of International Tourism and Hotel Management, during which, he also had the opportunity to spend six months working at Disney World in Florida, USA.
In 2017, Mark joined Riverlife, a provider of adventure tourism experiences including kayaking and paddle-boarding, rock climbing and abseiling, segway and Urb-E tours. As Adventure Manager, Mark’s role was focused on operational management, experience development, customer service, sales and small business management practices.
After three years at Riverlife, Mark decided to make a change and seek new career opportunities. He is now self-employed, providing brand and business management services to clients.
Mark is keen to promote the diverse opportunities in the industry to up-and-coming tourism industry professionals.

With a Bachelor of Business Management and Bachelor of International Hotel and Tourism Management, Mark has carved out an exciting career in adventure tourism. His roles have taken him from Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary to Disney World in Florida and to Riverlife. Mark now has his own business providing brand and business management services.
