Pacific Whale Foundation
Felicity discovered her passion for tourism when she undertook a variety of work placements while studying at university.
Felicity started as a volunteer at Fraser Coast Tourism and Events where, after a year of volunteering, she was then offered a paid role with the Visitor Information Centre. Felicity’s experience in regional tourism resulted in her then securing the role of Visitor Services Manager with Mackay Tourism and then as a Travel Consultant with Flight Centre, Maryborough.
Felicity has now re-located to the Fraser Coast where she has moved into an exciting new role of Office Assistant for Pacific Whale Foundation Eco Adventures where she gets to combine her two passions of tourism and conservation.
In 2017, Felicity was selected to participate in the Queensland Tourism Industry Council’s Young Professionals Mentoring Program where she gained further insights into the tourism industry from senior professionals.
Felicity graduated with a Bachelor of Business majoring in Marketing and Management/Leadership. She has a strong passion for travel and creating easy, hassle-free experiences for all visitors.
