Keppel Dive
Great Keppel Island

With a passion for Queensland’s natural environment, Lyndsay has developed an exciting career over the past 15 years educating visitors and providing them with unique experiences exploring the Great Barrier Reef. She has dived in some of the world’s greatest sites, been involved in many reef research projects and is committed to preserving and protecting Queensland’s unique natural environment.

Having initially undertaken a degree in Paramedic Science, Lyndsay’s love of the Great Barrier Reef led her to train as a PADI Dive Instructor and to become of three Master Reef Guides in the Capricorn region.

Lyndsay started working in the tourism industry as a Lifeguard/Dive Guide for Quicksilver Connections in Port Douglas before relocating to Lizard Island Resort where she was a Videographer/Dive Instructor as well as the on-call Resort Nurse/Medic. This was followed by a move to Cairns to work for Great Adventures for five years as a Dive Instructor/Reef Naturalist.

After a short break from fulltime employment in the industry to pursue her other passion of being a Paramedic with Queensland Ambulance Service, Lyndsay started her own dive and water sports company – Keppel Dive. Her company offers visitors the opportunity to undertake a range of tours and adventures including scuba diving, guided ‘eco-snorkeling’, citizen science activities on reef ranger tours as well as a diverse range of programs for school groups including snorkel and kayak tours, bushwalking and reef interpretation talks.
