As a chef, educator and artist, Kieron engages with people to share knowledge of his food, art and culture and provide them with transformational experiences.

Kieron is a proud Quandamooka, Kullilla and Wakka Wakka man who has become a well-known industry professional working as “The Quandamooka Chef”. After gaining his commercial cookery qualifications, Kieron worked as a chef before establishing his own business - Yalabin Dining - where he shares stories and provides immersive cultural experiences around food, art and culture.

Yalabin Dining is a multi-faceted tourism and hospitality business which has taken Kieron travelling across the country sharing, engaging and creating connections with community organisations, government and corporate sectors, travel companies and media outlets. Kieron’s aim is to share local knowledge passed down from Quandamooka Elders via authentic, Australian food experiences and food education. Yalabin Dining provides a range of cultural dining experiences for groups where ancient cooking techniques are infused with sacred stories, as well as a range of Land, Sea and Sky storytelling packages tailored with seasonal menus for corporate groups. Private fine dining experiences that combine food, art and theatre are also offered to small groups.

Kieron also provides a range of food education experiences for groups of 20-60 that are available in three Connection to Country packages – land, sea and sky that are shared through creation stories. In addition, he’s also regularly engaged to provide his unique gastronomic experiences at festivals and high-profile corporate events.

Kieron is a sought-after public speaker who has also featured in national media including ‘My Way’ on Channel 9 and SBS Food.
